Knightwrite will edit completed manuscripts, research biographies, undertake ghost-writing projects and oversee complete publishing ventures from start to finish in conjunction with professional designers and printers.


In 2011 the company produced its first independent work – “A Road Less Travelled” by managing director Robin Knight. Designed by Gilmour Print  the book traces the author’s varied career and life.

“A Road Less Travelled” includes 265 pages, 12 chapters, 55 photographs in three sections, a 14-page appendix with examples of opinion columns written by Robin, a bibliography and an index. It can be purchased from Knightwrite  for £20 including postage and packing.

In 2015 Knightwrite published a 6,500 word monograph on a forgotten World War 11 British hero Lt Cdr. Mike Cumberlege DSO & Bar, Greek Medal of Honour. Titled In Search of Mike Cumberlege, the monograph describes this SOE officer’s exploits in the eastern Mediterranean and subsequent murder in Sachsenhausen concentration camp in April, 1945. It was designed by Gilmour Print.

Other book projects involving Knightwrite include an illustrated history of Pangbourne College which has been published to celebrate the school’s centenary in 2017 in conjunction with Profile Books/Third Millennium Information a  leading publisher of high quality histories of companies, schools and family businesses.

In mid-2016 Robin Knight/Knightwrite collected, researched and edited The Old Pangbournian Record – a compilation of OP obituaries and death notices from 1917 – 2016.

This book consists of 1,250 entries, 150,000 words, 275 pages and about 150 images. It has been sponsored by The Old Pangbournian Society to mark the centenary of Pangbourne College and has been designed by Gilmour Print.
